Aug 19 – Sandra Bullock’s life has been anything but smooth this month. After her lover Bryan Randall died, the actress was already having it tough, but to make things worse now, the issue around the film ‘The Blind Side’ has left her distraught as it is now being claimed that her Oscar winning role in the film is ‘tainted by a falsehood’.
Bryan Randall died on August 5th.
The controversy arose when the real-life subject of the film, retired NFL great Michael Oher, filed a lawsuit on August 14 alleging that his adoptive parents defrauded him by hoarding the revenues from the 2009 film.
Oher claimed that his adoptive parents, Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, played by Bullock in the film, duped him into signing a document that made them conservators rather than adoptive parents, allowing them to profit from his name while not paying him any royalties.
According to the Daily Mail, Bullock is now upset after discovering that all of her hard work for the 2008 film that earned her an Oscar was based on a lie.
According to the Daily Mirror, she is upset that such a fantastic story, a spectacular film, and a spectacular time in her life has been soiled. People will no longer watch it, and if they do, their reactions will be diametrically opposed to the original goal.
There was so much hard work put into the film that they all felt was the truth, and now that it has been called into question, it simply irritates Sandra to no end that a time in her life that was so precious is now cast in a completely different light.
Since her partner’s death, the actress has been putting on a brave face, and she was seen in public for the first time on August 15. Things have only become worse for her as she continues to mourn her enormous loss.
