Mumbai, December 10: Contrary to recent media reports that Sara Ali Khan is being considered for the role of Zoya Wahab Riaz in the much-awaited film ‘Animal’, an industry insider has refuted the rumours. . According to the insider, Sara Ali Khan never auditioned for the film.
Earlier there were reports that Sara’s name was being considered for the role, but director Sandeep Reddy Vanga reportedly did not find her audition exciting and ultimately chose Trupti Dimri for the role.
Setting the record straight, the insider said, “Sara Ali Khan never auditioned for ‘Animal’.”
Trupti Dimri has garnered attention for her impressive role in ‘Animal’, which contains elements of violence, romance and intimacy. In response to questions about the film’s potential misogyny, she said, “I think cinema is about free artistic expression, and that’s the way it should be.”
Sara Ali Khan was last seen in ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ and she has upcoming projects like ‘Murder Mubarak’ with Vijay Verma, ‘Metro In Dino’ with Aditya Roy Kapur and ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’
