Fans of Shetty’s beloved Golmaal franchise also have reason to celebrate, as he recently provided a promising update on the next installment. In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Shetty assured, “Golmaal 5 will happen for sure.” Expressing enthusiasm, he hinted at an expedited production timeline, stating, “Looking at the response, I will have to make it a little soon. I think you will get Golmaal 5 in the next 2 years.”
Committing to delivering a spectacular cinematic experience, Shetty acknowledged the evolving landscape of cinema, emphasizing the necessity for Golmaal 5 to surpass its predecessors in scale and grandeur. While ruling out the incorporation of action into the comedy franchise, he conveyed his intention to elevate the film to meet the expectations of the extensive fanbase.
Intriguingly, Shetty disclosed a desire to explore beyond his signature ‘cop-verse,’ expressing interest in creating a film akin to ‘Chennai Express.’
