Coming to the match, CSK performed brilliantly as expected. Rachin Ravindra scored 46 runs in 20 balls with the help of six fours and three sixes and gave the team a banging start. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra shared a partnership of 62 runs for the first wicket. Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 46 runs in 36 balls with the help of one six and five fours.
At the same time, Shivam Dubey, who became the best player of the match, played an innings of 51 runs in 23 balls for CSK and gave a challenging target of 207 runs for the batsmen of Gujarat Titans. Chasing the target, Gujarat Titans did not get off to a good start and lost two wickets in the powerplay itself.

Defending champions Super Kings are at the top of the points table with two wins, while Gujarat Titans are sixth in the points table with one win and one loss.
