New Delhi, January 15 (UITV)- The Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in Pakistan and UAE on the basis of a hybrid model. The Indian cricket team will play its matches of the Champions Trophy 2025 at a neutral venue. However, according to information received from sources, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma is expected to go to Pakistan and attend the opening ceremony of this prestigious tournament. This tournament is being held in Pakistan after eight years and it is a historic occasion for cricket lovers.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is preparing for the grand opening ceremony of this tournament, which will be held on 16 or 17 February. The date of the opening ceremony will be decided according to the schedule of warm-up matches. As per the tradition of ICC events, it is necessary for the captains of all the teams to attend the opening ceremony of the tournament. Sources told IANS that Indian team captain Rohit Sharma will go to Pakistan to attend the opening ceremony of the Champions Trophy 2025 to be held in Pakistan. PCB is making full preparations to make this event special, as it is an opportunity for Pakistan to host a major international cricket tournament after 29 years.
