Amara Soundarya Foundation, a unit of the Amara Sathvika Social and Education Trust, has been a beacon of hope and empowerment for children with special needs since its establishment in 2004. Founded by Smt. Nirmala Amarnath in memory of her husband, Mr. Amarnath, an award-winning film producer, and her sister-in-law, Ms. Soundarya, a renowned South Indian actress, the foundation is dedicated to serving children with Autism, Down Syndrome, mild intellectual disabilities, and learning difficulties.

Recent Milestones
In November 2023, the foundation inaugurated its new state-of-the-art facility, further enhancing its capacity to serve the community. The annual Sports Day held in March 2024 was a testament to the foundation’s commitment to nurturing both the minds and bodies of its students, celebrating their achievements in various athletic events.
