Actor Akshay Kumar has become the target of deepfake videos. A video of him promoting a game application has surfaced online.
Sources said, “The actor has never been involved in promoting any such activity. The source of the video that has surfaced is being investigated and legal action is being taken against the actor for making false advertisements by misusing his identity. ,
A cyber complaint has been filed against the company and the social media handle responsible for creating and promoting this fake video. ,

Further sources close to the actor said, “The actor is very upset with his identity being misused and has instructed his team to deal with this matter.” He has told his team to resolve the matter as soon as possible using all available legal remedies.”
Earlier, deep fake videos of actors like Nora Fatehi, Rashmika Mandanna, Kajol, Katrina Kaif and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar have also gone viral on the internet.
