Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be seen presenting awards at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). Recently, actress Deepika Padukone was seen in the action film ‘Fighter’.
Padukone’s co-presenters on the occasion will be Andrew Scott, Cate Blanchett, Dua Lipa, Idris Elba, Adjoa Andoh, Hugh Grant, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lily Collins, Indira Varma, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emma Corrin, Gillian Anderson and Himesh Patel.
Last year, at the Academy Awards, actress Deepika Padukone performed live on the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from ‘RRR’. The song ‘Natu Natu’ from ‘RRR’ won the Oscar award in the Best Original Song category.
Deepika Padukone shared this news with her followers in the story section of her Instagram and expressed her gratitude for it.
According to BAFTA’s official website, the Rising Star award will be presented by former winners Emma Mackey and Jack O’Connell. For this, there is competition between actresses Phoebe Dynevor, Jacob Elordi, Ayo Adebiri, Sophie Wilde and Mia McKenna-Bruce.
The actress has also shared a screenshot of the list of presenters from the BAFTA website and while sharing the post, the actress has written “Thank you”.
Hannah Waddingham will perform a special cover song at the ceremony. Sophie Ellis Bexter, who rose to fame with Saltburn two decades after its recent release, will sing ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’.
The BAFTA Film Awards will be hosted by ‘Doctor Who’ actor David Tennant. The BAFTA film awards ceremony will take place on Sunday at London’s Royal Festival Hall. Indian viewers can watch this ceremony on the OTT platform Lionsgate Play.
