Hrithik Roshan never misses an opportunity to support his cousin Pashmina, and Tuesday was no exception. The Fighter star enthusiastically cheered for Pashmina Roshan’s debut film, Ishq Vishk Rebound, by sharing the trailer on his Instagram handle. Hrithik praised the trailer, writing, “O, this was amazing. The plot. It’s new. I love it.”
For those unfamiliar, Hrithik Roshan and Sunaina Roshan are the children of actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan and Pinky Roshan. Rakesh Roshan’s brother, Rajesh Roshan, a music director, is married to Kanchan Roshan. They have two children, Pashmina Roshan and Eshaan Roshan.

Ishq Vishk Rebound explores themes of friendship, love, breakups, and rebounds. The trailer introduces three friends – Rohit, Pashmina, and Jibraan. As the story progresses, Pashmina and Jibraan develop romantic feelings, while Rohit shares intimate moments with Naila. Complications arise as both couples break up, leading to Rohit kissing Pashmina. This twist adds to the drama, with Rohit eventually lamenting, “Yaar hum log na dost hi theek the, yeh ishq-vishk ke chakkar ne na dosti ki bhi band bajadi. [We were fine as friends; this love affair has ruined even our friendship.]” The trailer teases a story involving three friends, two love stories, and two breakups.

Ishq Vishk Rebound is the second installment of the Ishq Vishk franchise. The original film, Ishq Vishk, was released in 2003 and marked the debut of Shahid Kapoor, also featuring Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasurywala.
