On Sunday, Mumbai Police released a statement regarding an altercation outside the residence of actress Raveena Tandon over a minor parking dispute. The incident, captured on video and widely shared on social media, shows Tandon caught in a struggle with a crowd that allegedly attempted to attack her driver.
According to the police, the clash began when Tandon’s driver was reversing the car, causing three people from a family to feel endangered. An argument ensued, but both parties eventually dispersed. The police later arrived to question Tandon’s staff and the other involved party, both of whom declined to file any complaints.
The incident took place on Carter Road in Bandra on Saturday night. While no formal First Information Report (FIR) has been filed, a station diary entry was made at the Khar police station. Allegedly, the driver struck three individuals with the vehicle, leading to a confrontation. It was also claimed that Tandon, under the influence, assaulted a woman after exiting the vehicle. However, the police confirmed that no injuries were reported and no complaints were filed by either party. Raveena Tandon has not yet commented on the incident.
