Mumbai, December 21: Pankaj Tripathi, who is all set to play the role of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the upcoming biopic ‘Main Atal Hoon’, expressed his deep immersion in the character during the trailer launch event in Mumbai. The film, scheduled to release on January 19, 2024, aims to shed light on lesser known aspects of the former Prime Minister’s life.
Addressing the media, Tripathi shared information about his extensive preparation for the role, saying, “We have tried to show those moments of his life in the film that people are not aware of and which no one knows about. are also not available on the public platform.” I have read so much about him that I can write a book on him and it will be bigger than this film. I have seen all his interviews, read so much about him that I understand his personality.”
The actor also mentioned the challenges faced in getting the look right through the use of prosthetics, revealing, “It took two hours a day.
