Mumbai, November 14 (UITV)- An old video of the well-known and successful actress of the film industry Rani Mukherjee is becoming very viral on social media these days, in which she is seen sharing an interesting incident related to her career. In the video, Rani Mukherjee revealed that she cried a lot in front of Aamir Khan because of Karan Johar. This video is a part of Karan Johar’s popular chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’, in which Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor Khan were present as guests.
In the video, ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’ actress Rani refreshed an old memory, when she came to know about Karan Johar’s film ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’. Rani told that when she heard the things related to the story of the film from others, she became very sad. Rani said, “Honestly, when I first came to know about ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ from others, I became very sad. I am very close to you. Whenever you make a film, you always tell me its story and other things.” Rani also revealed that she is at a level of friendship with Karan where she can always discuss his films with him comfortably. Yet, when she got to know about ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ from other people, she realised why Karan did not include her and why did not talk to her.
The ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ actress Rani further said, “I remember when I heard this, I thought why did Karan not come and take me? Why was he not talking to me, you know how is my relationship with you?” This was so painful for Rani that she shared all this crying in front of Aamir Khan, expressing her feelings on this. Rani’s revelation came as a new information for her fans, as this was never mentioned publicly before.
Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta were in the lead roles in ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’. The film also featured seasoned actors like Jaya Bachchan, Sushma Seth, Reema Lagoo, Lillete Dubey and Delnaaz Irani in pivotal roles. The film was a huge box office success and received immense love from the audience. The film is considered to be one of Karan Johar’s most memorable and successful films, which beautifully presented the importance of love, friendship and family.
