Mumbai, January 24 (UITV)- Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan recorded his statement before the Mumbai Police after the attack on his house on January 16. The case of this attack was very shocking and Saif Ali Khan gave detailed information about the incident. He recorded a statement before the Bandra Police on Thursday, in which he told about the attacker and said that this attack was going to seriously endanger the safety of his family.
Saif Ali Khan told the police that he and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan were in their bedroom on the 11th floor of the Sadguru Sharan Building of their house in Bandra, Mumbai. At the same time, he heard the screams of his younger son Jahangir (Jeh) and his domestic help Nanny Eliama Philip. These sounds were so loud that both Saif and Kareena woke up. Both immediately tried to reach Jeh’s room and there they saw the attacker.
Saif told the police that when they reached the room, the nanny was scared and screaming, while their son Jeh was crying. Naini told that the attacker had demanded Rs 1 crore, which made it clear that he had entered the house with the intention of stealing. Saif tried to stop the attacker, but the attacker attacked Saif with a knife. He made several blows on Saif’s back, neck and hands. However, despite the attack, Saif pushed him inside and controlled the attacker to some extent. Meanwhile, Naini tried to run out of the room with Jeh with her and locked it so that he remains safe.
Saif further told that everyone was very scared to see this stranger suddenly entering the house, but they tried their best to control him. Mumbai Police informed regarding this attack that the accused has been identified as Mohammad Shahzad. He is a citizen of Bangladesh and had entered India illegally last year. The accused was arrested by the police from Thane on January 19 and more than 20 teams of Mumbai Police played an important role in this arrest. Police said that the accused Shahzad had entered Saif Ali Khan’s house with the intention of stealing and he was identified from the fingerprints left by the accused in the flat.
According to Mumbai Police, Shahzad’s fingerprints were found on the duct pipe of the flat, which he used to climb the floor of the building. Apart from this, the accused’s fingerprints were also found on the door handle of Jeh’s room. Based on these evidence, the police arrested Shahzad and took him for questioning.
After this incident, accused Shahzad’s father Mohammad Ruhul Amin Fakir spoke to the media. He claimed that the person seen in the CCTV footage does not look like his son. Fakir said that the suspect seen in the CCTV footage had long hair, whereas his son never keeps his hair long. He also alleged that his son is being framed and all this could be the result of a misunderstanding.
Mohammad Ruhul Amin Fakir also said that the truth of the allegations against his son needs to be questioned. He claimed that he considers his son innocent and all this could be a false allegation, which has been made on the basis of CCTV footage. He said that these allegations have been made on him without proper proof and he hopes for justice.
