Bollywood actor Salman Khan has recently received a fresh death threat, with an unidentified individual sending a message to the Mumbai Traffic Police’s helpline. The message warned of entering Khan’s residence and killing him, as well as planting a bomb in his vehicle. This threat is under investigation by the Mumbai Police, who have registered a case and are working to trace the sender.
Over the past years, Khan has been a target of multiple threats, primarily attributed to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. These threats are allegedly linked to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, as the Bishnoi community holds the animal in high regard. In April 2024, assailants associated with the Bishnoi gang fired shots outside Khan’s Bandra residence. Following this incident, the police arrested several gang members and invoked the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) against them.
In response to these ongoing threats, Salman Khan has expressed his belief that his safety is in the hands of divine forces, stating that his lifespan will be as long as fate allows. He now limits his travel to between his home and film sets, avoiding other engagements due to security concerns.
