Mumbai, January 3: The second season of the streaming series “Sunflower”, starring Sunil Grover, Ashish Vidyarthi, Ranveer Shorey, Mukul Chaddha and Girish Kulkarni, is all set to make its return. Known for its unique blend of crime and comedy, the show is based on the quaint setting of a middle-class housing society named ‘Sunflower’ in Mumbai.
In this upcoming season, familiar faces from the first installment will reprise their roles, with Sunil Grover playing the role of Sonu Singh, Mukul Chaddha playing the role of Mr. Ahuja, Ashish Vidyarthi playing the role of Dilip Iyer, Ranveer Shorey playing the role of Inspector Digendra, And Girish Kulkarni will play the role of Inspector Tambe.
Continuing the story from the previous season, the story follows DG and Tambe as they find themselves trapped in a quest to uncover Kapoor’s killer. The second season promises an added layer of intrigue with a doubled list of suspects, with India’s most beloved murder suspect Sonu naturally at the centre.
Created by showrunner Vikas Bahl and directed by Naveen Gujral, the show has received tremendous praise for its unique premise and character dynamics.
