Charu Asopa, television actress and former sister-in-law of Sushmita Sen, has relocated from Mumbai to her hometown Bikaner, Rajasthan, citing financial difficulties. She is now residing with her parents and daughter, Ziana. Asopa has initiated an online clothing business, selling salwar suits and sarees to support herself during this period.
The high cost of living in Mumbai, with monthly expenses ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹1.5 lakh, contributed to her decision to move. Additionally, balancing her acting career with parenting responsibilities proved challenging, as she preferred not to leave her daughter alone with a nanny during long shooting hours.
Asopa informed her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen, about her relocation via text message, emphasizing that he is welcome to visit their daughter in Bikaner.
Despite facing criticism online, Asopa remains focused on her new venture, expressing that she is not ashamed of her efforts and is determined to provide for her daughter through her online business.
