The latest promo for The Great Indian Kapil Show: Season 2 has been released, featuring actress Janhvi Kapoor sharing a humorous story about her best friend’s breakup and how she tried to help her make her ex jealous.
The show’s creators took to Instagram to share the new clip, showcasing Kapil Sharma hosting the team of Devara: Part 1, including Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan. The post was captioned: “Where do you get friends like these? Asking for myself. Watch @jrntr, @janhvikapoor, and Saif Ali Khan on #TheGreatIndianKapilShow only on Netflix!”
In the video, Janhvi shares an amusing anecdote: “So, I had a friend who went through a breakup and wanted to make her ex-boyfriend jealous. As a supportive friend, I decided to help by wearing a sweatshirt so she could take a backshot of me, post it on Instagram, and make her ex wonder who she was holidaying with in the Swiss Alps just a week after the breakup. Unfortunately, her plan backfired—her ex didn’t care and didn’t even send her a message after she posted the picture.”
On the professional front, Janhvi’s latest action thriller Devara: Part 1 premiered on September 27, 2024, with Jr NTR in a dual role. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Narain in key roles. It is produced by Kosaraju Harikrishna and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under the Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts banners.

Janhvi is also gearing up for her next project, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film features an ensemble cast including Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, Akshay Oberoi, Manoj Joshi, and Nishigandha Wad, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 18, 2025.
