Rashmika Mandanna has resumed filming for the much-anticipated action entertainer ‘Sikandar’, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film has already generated significant buzz, especially after its teaser received an enthusiastic response from fans.
In addition to ‘Sikandar’, Rashmika has been gaining attention for her recent film ‘Chhaava’ and has several upcoming projects lined up, including two Telugu films and three Hindi films. Notably, she will star alongside Dhanush in Sekhar Kammula’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual film ‘Kubera’ and headline the female-led film ‘The Girlfriend’. She is also set to appear opposite Salman Khan in ‘Sikandar’ and join the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in the romantic horror film ‘Thama’. Filming for ‘Kubera’, ‘Sikandar’, and ‘Thama’ was briefly delayed in January 2025 due to a leg injury Rashmika sustained at the gym.
Rashmika’s return to the set has further fueled excitement for ‘Sikandar’, which has already claimed the top spot on IMDb’s list of Most Anticipated Indian Movies of 2025.
