Whether it’s her on-screen performances or her impeccable style, Alia Bhatt has always managed to captivate everyone. For Alia, fashion is a form of storytelling, and she believes in staying authentic to herself through her choices.
In an interview with IANS, Alia described her approach to fashion, saying, “Fashion is another form of storytelling for me, a reflection of who you are. I’ve always tried to stay as true as I can to myself—ever-evolving, yet always comfortable and easy.”
When asked about her skincare and hair care routine, Alia shared some insights into her regimen. “I stick to a consistent skincare routine that includes cleansing, moisturizing, and sun protection. Staying hydrated is also essential for me. When I’m not working, I prefer to go makeup-free to let my skin breathe, and I give my hair a break from styling tools and products to keep it healthy,” said the actress, who will soon be seen in the film “Jigra.”
She emphasized the importance of a holistic approach: “It’s really a mix of a balanced diet, regular workouts, a proper skin and hair care routine, good sleep, and most importantly—listening to my body.”
Experimenting with hairstyles is also a significant aspect for Alia. “For me, experimenting with my hair is a big part of embracing different roles and looks. It’s amazing how a new hair color or style can change your entire appearance and bring fresh energy to your performance,” said Alia, who has recently become the global brand ambassador for L’Oréal Paris.
“Whether it’s for a project or just for fun, experimenting with my hair keeps things exciting,” she added, mentioning her passion for skincare.
Alia, who is married to Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor, will celebrate 12 years in the Hindi film industry this October. She made her debut in 2012 with “Student Of The Year” and has since proven her versatility with films like “Highway,” “2 States,” “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania,” “Kapoor & Sons,” “Udta Punjab,” “Raazi,” “Gully Boy,” “Gangubai Kathiawadi,” “Darlings,” and “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.” In 2023, she made her international debut in “Heart of Stone” alongside Gal Gadot.
Reflecting on her 12-year journey in Hindi cinema, Alia feels immense gratitude. “Over the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the finest directors, production houses, and actors in the country. I am thankful for every project I’ve been a part of because each one has allowed me to step into the shoes of so many diverse and unique characters,” she shared.
Looking ahead, Alia is excited about her upcoming projects, “Jigra” and “Alpha,” where she will be taking on the role of a spy.
“I am equally thrilled for my upcoming projects as they offer even more challenges and opportunities for growth as an actor. The world of storytelling amazes, excites, and inspires me… and I couldn’t be more grateful to be living my dream every day,” she concluded.
