Beijing, September 27: Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal ‘Prachanda’ is on a 7-day visit to China. In Beijing, China’s Prime Minister Li Keqiang spoke to Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal ‘Prachanda’. During this conversation, Chinese Prime Minister Li Jiang told Nepali Prime Minister Prachanda that ever since diplomatic relations were established between China and Nepal, the two countries have always respected each other. Both countries have not only fully supported each other for almost 70 years, but have also maintained sincere trust in each other.
Healthy and stable bilateral relations are being developed comprehensively. New achievements have been continuously achieved through cooperation in various fields. It has set an example of cooperation, equal treatment, and equal victory between the two countries.
In Hangzhou city of China, Chinese President Xi Jinping also met Nepalese Prime Minister Prachanda to talk about plans to further China-Nepal relations. Chinese President Xi Jinping and Nepali Prime Minister Prachanda met and made their arrangements and plans to take China-Nepal relations towards development. China is ready to take China-Nepal relations to the top level. With Nepal, China looks forward to strengthening, as well as expanding, the development strategies of both countries. We are ready to implement whatever important agreement has been reached between the leaders of the two countries and to strengthen practical cooperation. So that strong relations can be established between the two countries and these mutual relations can reach a higher level.
During the meeting, Chinese Prime Minister Li Jiang said that to deepen the cooperation between the two countries, both countries will have to work based on joint construction with the merits of “Belt and Road (BRI)”.
China also expressed its eagerness and desire to import agricultural products from Nepal. He said that China is keen to import more high-quality products from Nepal.
Nepal’s Prime Minister Prachanda congratulated China for hosting the Asian Games. The 19th Asian Games was held in Hangzhou, China. Nepal congratulated China for successfully hosting its inaugural ceremony. Nepali Prime Minister Prachanda has praised the achievements China has made in its economic and social development. Along with this, Nepal also praised China for its achievements in poverty alleviation. Prime Minister Prachanda supported China’s “Belt and Road (BRI)” project and said Nepal is keen to strengthen cooperation with China and enhance exchanges in various fields. Nepal is also ready to work with China to advance the establishment of a fair and just international order.
