In a significant administrative shake-up, Uttar Pradesh witnessed the transfer of 18 IPS officers, with 11 district police chiefs among them.
Dev Ranjan Verma, who served as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in GRP Lucknow, has been appointed as the new Ballia SP. Simultaneously, the promoted Ballia SP S. Anand now assumes the position of DIG STF.
Abhishek Singh, the SP in ATS, has been reassigned to Muzaffarnagar as SP, while Muzaffarnagar SP Sanjeev Suman takes over as the Aligarh SSP. The recently promoted Aligarh SSP Kalanidhi Naithani will assume the role of DIG in the Jhansi range.
Vrinda Shukla, the Chitrakoot SP, transitions to become the new Bahraich SP. At the same time, Arun Kumar Singh, the SP of Law and Order at DGP headquarters, is appointed as the Chitrakoot SP.

Prashant Kumar, the Bahraich SP, will now serve as SP GRP in Lucknow. Aparna Rajat Kaushik, DCP of the central zone in Lucknow, has been named the new Kasganj SP, succeeding Saurabh Dixit, who is now Firozabad SP.
Firozabad SP Ashish Tiwari is heading to the US, and Siddharth Nagar SP Abhishek Agarwal has been reassigned as the Rae Bareli SP. The former Rae Bareli SP Alok Priyadarshi takes on the role of Badaun SP.
Promoted Badaun SP O.P. Singh assumes the position of DIG Varanasi range. Prachi Singh, the Shravasti SP, now serves as Siddharth Nagar SP, and Ghanshyam, the SP Establishment in DGP Headquarters, becomes the new Shravasti SP.
Prashant Kumar, IG of Kanpur range, transitions to IG EOW, while Jogendra Kumar, the DIG of Jhansi range, is appointed as IG of Kanpur range.
