A tourist bus caught fire last night on the Kundali Manesar Palwal Expressway near Tawdu town in Nuh district of Haryana. A bus full of devotees suddenly caught fire late at night and suddenly the entire bus was burnt to ashes in this terrible fire. Nine people in that bus were burnt alive in this fire. Many others have been badly burnt in this fire. Who have been admitted to different hospitals for treatment. All the victims of this accident are said to be residents of Chandigarh and Punjab. They were all returning from Mathura and Vrindavan.
According to the information that has come out, about 60 people were on that passenger bus, including women and children. In the video that has come out, the bus standing on the road is seen completely engulfed in flames.
The cause of the bus fire is yet to be ascertained. Nine people have been confirmed dead in the incident, while more than 20 people are reported to have suffered burns in the fire.
The people present on the spot said that they saw the bus on fire late at night around half past one. Flames were coming out from the back of the bus. The villagers shouted to the bus driver to stop the bus, but the bus driver did not pay attention to this. After this, a young man chased the bus with a bike and stopped the bus by placing the bike in front of the bus.
The villagers tried their best to put out the fire in the bus and all the people who were trapped in the fire were rescued. The villagers informed the police and fire department. Police and fire department vehicles reached the spot after receiving the information. Fire engines brought the fire under control, but by then it was too late. People who got burnt in the fire were taken to the hospital with the help of ambulance and other vehicles.
Superintendent of Police Narendra Bijarnia reached the spot with a force after receiving information about the accident. SP Narendra Bijarnia said that 9 people died in this accident and around two dozen people were injured in this accident.
