New Delhi, 26 December (UITV)- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and they discussed many important issues related to the state. CM Naidu also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah after this meeting. The purpose of these meetings was to get the necessary help and cooperation from the Center for the state.
According to media reports, Chief Minister Naidu appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give priority to the state in the Union Budget, especially for the development of Andhra Pradesh. During this, he expressed gratitude for the support given by the central government to restart major projects like Polavaram and Amaravati. This meeting, which lasted for more than an hour at the Prime Minister’s residence, was an important opportunity for the Chief Minister to put the issues of the state before the Prime Minister.
CM Naidu also shared a post on the social media platform ‘X’ after this meeting, in which he described the meeting as “fruitful” and talked about discussing various important issues for Andhra Pradesh. He said, “I spoke to PM Modi about the Polavaram and Amaravati projects and thanked him for the support from the Center to restart these projects. Along with this, I also told that the funds of 94 central schemes were misused by the previous government and our government is making sincere efforts to reactivate these schemes.” CM Naidu also highlighted the financial challenges of Andhra Pradesh during this time and emphasized the need for assistance from the central government. He presented a copy of ‘Swarnandhra Vision 2047’ prepared for the development of the state to Prime Minister Modi. Naidu also informed that plans have been discussed for Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Andhra Pradesh in January, in which major projects will be inaugurated. He also expressed eagerness to welcome PM Modi again to the state. After this, Chief Minister Naidu also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The Home Ministry office informed about this meeting on the social media platform ‘X’. According to reports, various issues related to Andhra Pradesh were also discussed in the meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah. This meeting was an important opportunity for Chief Minister Naidu to put forward the law and order, security and administrative issues within the state before the Home Minister.
Media reports also said that Chief Minister Naidu is also scheduled to meet Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to discuss issues related to the economic development and budget of the state. Naidu had already demanded special priority for Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget and this meeting is an opportunity for him to discuss the matter further.
