New Delhi, January 14 (UITV) – Former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal has given his reaction on the FIR lodged against CM Atishi. As the days of the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi are getting closer, the round of allegations and counter-allegations is getting intensified. Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress on the FIR lodged against CM Atishi. Kejriwal, through a post on the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), surrounded both these parties and questioned their policies.
Kejriwal said, “Their leaders openly distribute money, give sarees, blankets, gold chains and other gifts, do fake voting, but still no action is taken against them, but an FIR is immediately registered against Chief Minister Atishi.” Kejriwal, through his statement, surrounded the BJP and the Congress and alleged that both the parties are involved in corruption and immoral acts, but no concrete action is taken against them.
Further, he said, “Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is fighting against the entire system. We want to change this rotten system along with the public and we have to clean it together. Both BJP and Congress are part of the same corrupt and dirty system.” Kejriwal also said that Aam Aadmi Party wants to establish a new, clean and transparent system in Delhi, which can benefit the common man here and corruption can be controlled.
Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal, while reacting to a post by BJP leader Amit Malviya, said, “I said a line on Rahul Gandhi and BJP people are responding to it. See how much trouble BJP is facing because of this.” After this, he also said that perhaps this election of Delhi will expose the conspiracy going on behind the scenes between Congress and BJP for years. He accused both the parties that they are doing Jugalbandi with each other behind the scenes, which affects the public.
According to media reports, an FIR has been registered against Delhi Chief Minister Atishi for violating the code of conduct. CM Atishi is accused of using a government vehicle for election campaign, which is against the election code of conduct. In this context, an FIR has been registered against her in Govind Puri area. In this case, the Election Commission also took immediate action and ordered the registration of an FIR.
This time 70 seats will be contested in the Delhi Assembly elections, which will be held in a single phase on February 5. Its results will be announced on February 8. According to the Election Commission, there will be a total of more than 1.55 crore voters in Delhi, including 83,49,645 men, 71,73,952 women and 1,261 third gender.
