In a significant counter-terrorism operation, Indian security forces eliminated three Pakistani terrorists, including top Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) commander Saifullah, in the Naidgam forest area of Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir. Saifullah, a high-value target with a ₹5 lakh bounty, had been orchestrating terrorist activities in the region for several months .
The encounter, which occurred on April 12, 2025, involved a joint operation by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police. During the operation, a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) sustained severe injuries and later succumbed at a garrison hospital .
This operation marks a significant blow to JeM’s presence in the region, disrupting their activities and showcasing the effectiveness of coordinated security efforts.
