Under the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections 2024, the first phase of voting took place on Wednesday, September 18. The second phase is to be held on September 25 and the third and final phase on October 1. In view of the elections, on September 21, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address election rallies in Jammu at Shah Mendhar, Surankot (Poonch district), Rajouri and Thanamandi (Rajouri district) as well as Akhnoor (Jammu district).
Amit Shah reached Jammu on Friday night to address five election rallies in three districts of Jammu and Kashmir. A senior BJP leader said that Amit Shah reached Jammu from Delhi and went straight to the state guest house.

People from all villages and panchayats will attend Amit Shah’s public meeting. The public has made up their mind that they will vote in favor of BJP. The result of the assembly elections will come in favor of BJP and our government will be formed.
Amit Shah is visiting Jammu and Kashmir for the second time in five days. Earlier on September 16, he addressed public meetings in Paddar Nagseni, Kishtwar and Ramban. In his address, he attacked the opposition and enumerated his achievements. While addressing the rally in Katra, PM Modi had said that there may not be enthusiasm about Congress-National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir, but there is a lot of enthusiasm about it in the neighboring country Pakistan.
PM Modi had said that the Congress-National Conference alliance is being a big hit in Pakistan. Pakistan is very happy and impressed with their manifesto. Pakistan’s Defense Minister has openly supported the Congress-National Conference. He says that the agenda of Congress and NC regarding Article 370 and 35A is the same agenda of Pakistan as well.
