Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with his wife Sunita Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann performed puja at the ancient Hanuman temple at Connaught Place. Arvind Kejriwal along with his family, Delhi government ministers and MLAs, his supporters also reached the temple. In which Minister Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj, MP Sanjay Singh, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann etc. were present.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal duly offered prayers in the temple. Aam Aadmi Party workers and a large number of supporters were also shouting slogans for Kejriwal.
Minister Gopal Rai had also reached the Hanuman temple earlier. Arvind Kejriwal will go to the party office after leaving the temple and hold a meeting with Aam Aadmi Party leaders there. A press conference will also be held after this meeting.
Kejriwal was granted interim bail till June 1 by the Supreme Court on Friday. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested by ED in the Delhi liquor scam. Arvind Kejriwal will have to surrender on June 2. After 50 days, Kejriwal came out of jail on Friday.
He was arrested by the ED on March 21. Addressing Aam Aadmi Party workers after coming out of jail, Kejriwal said, I am fighting with all my might against this dictatorship, but 140 crore people will have to come together to fight against it. I feel so good to be among you. I told you that I will come out soon. First of all I want to bow down to Lord Hanuman. I am among you all by the blessings of Hanuman Ji.
