Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accompanied by his family, cast his vote in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections at a polling booth in the Civil Lines area. After voting, he urged citizens to vote for an honest party committed to the city’s development. He emphasized the importance of choosing candidates who work diligently and maintain integrity, stating, “Vote for those who work and are honest, not for those who are dishonest.”
Kejriwal also highlighted the significance of this election in improving Delhi’s cleanliness and governance. He encouraged voters to participate actively, noting, “This is an opportunity to clean the capital city.”
The MCD polls involve 250 wards across Delhi, with over 1.45 crore eligible voters. Polling commenced at 8 a.m. and will conclude at 5:30 p.m.
