Prime Minister Narendra Modi has requested all Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and their supporters to remove ‘Modi Ka Parivar’ from their social media profiles through social media platform X.
In a post on X, he said, “I thank the people of India once again and request them all to remove ‘Modi’s family’ from their social media profiles.” Also, the Prime Minister’s Office has changed the new DP and cover image on the X handle.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of the country for the third time on June 9. On X, he wrote, “People all over India added ‘Modi ka parivar’ on their social media as a symbol of their affection towards me during the election campaign. I got a lot of strength from it. NDA has been given the majority by the people of India for the third time in a row, which is a record in a way and the people of the country have given us a mandate to continue working for the betterment of our country.

He further wrote that, we are all one family and this message was conveyed effectively, for which I would like to thank the people of India once again. All of you are requested to remove ‘Modi Ka Parivar’ from your social media properties now. Our bond as a family striving for India’s progress is strong and unbreakable.
It is worth noting that the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad addressed the Grand Alliance rally before the Lok Sabha elections and how he taunted Prime Minister Modi that if Narendra Modi does not have his own family, then what can we do about it? They keep banging the door of Ram Mandir, they are not even true Hindus. According to Hindu tradition, a son shaves his beard on the death of his parents, but Modi did not shave his head on the death of his mother.
PM Modi hit back at Lalu Yadav’s statement in a rally in Adilabad, Telangana and said that his family is the 140 crore population of the country. I will live for my country. After this, many BJP ministers, leaders and activists wrote ‘Modi ka Parivar’ in front of their social media handles to show solidarity with the Prime Minister.
