Rotary Bangalore Hesargatta Road ( RBHR) got its charter signed on 15th Sept 2023 post and it organized its maiden installation program On 8th October at Rotary Udyog Bhavan situated at Peenya Bangalore, the Program presided over in the presence of District Governor Rtn Mr. V Srinivas Murthy, Assistant Governor Rtn Philip John, and Zone Governor Rtn R Mahendra. The program started with a welcome dinner, an Invocation song, and a lighting lamp.
On this day DG Rtn V Srinivas Murthy unveiled the Club Charter certificate and Handed it over to Charter President Rtn. Abhay Kanjikar. Post that Charter President Mr. Abhay spoke about his journey in Rotary and his accolades, in his speech he narrated how RBHR was formed and the projects conducted by his team, he assured DG that this year will focus on new member development and strong bonding among new and old. On this occasion he introduced his team of directors and additional directors along with their spouses on daises, each directed was pinned with Bharavase and Directors badge by DG, Rtn V Srinivas Murthy and Assistant Governors Rtn Philip John and Zone Governor Rtn R Mahendra.
In this program 10 new ( 6 male and 4 female) Rotarians were installed. Assistant Governor Rtn Philip John unveiled the RBHR Bulletin and handed over the bulletin to all dignitaries, post that he released E the roster. Each director of Environmental, Community service, Sports, and international events, presented their project and plans for the year. DG Rtn Mr. V Srinivas Murthy, in his speech spoke about the history of rotary, ethics, and its contribution to society. He narrated new initiatives such as a literacy program, the need for restrooms for 3rd gender helping hand centers for cancer patients, and Human milk banks for the needy during eventualities which has gathered the attention of all gathering.
DG in his remarks advised Rotarians to conduct meetings and projects fairly and ethically so that society and new members feel their value addition. The program ended with a vote of thanks by the Charter vice president and secretory Mr. Shashidar. He wished all Rotarians who celebrated their birthday and anniversary and thanked all delegates and Rotary Udyog for their continued guidance and support
