Lucknow, December 19: The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has prepared a comprehensive security blueprint for the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya to be held on January 22. Inspector General of Police, Faizabad Range, Praveen Kumar revealed that a new security plan will be implemented ensuring strict measures for the security of a temple.
Given the current sensitivity of Ayodhya, the security plan includes multiple checkpoints and strict access control to prevent unauthorized persons from going near the temple. Various locations will be equipped with checking points, CCTV cameras and drone flights without permission will be banned. Increasing security measures on the river banks and protecting the river is also part of the plan.
37 government and non-government lands in the district will be used for parking arrangements for the inauguration, along with cameras will also be installed for additional security. There will be a ban on heavy vehicles passing through the city on 22 and 23 January. Special arrangements for the arrival of guests with the help of Intelligence Department and Artificial Intelligence will further strengthen the security measures during the consecration ceremony.
During the event, security personnel from CRPF, UPSSF, PAC and Civil Police will collectively protect the holy city. The Ram Mandir Trust has identified three places for the monks and saints to stay during the celebrations. A tent city at Bagh Bijesi will host 15,000 people, while Karsevakapuram will host 1,000 guests. The Naturopathy Center (Naturopathy Center) will provide accommodation for 850 guests.
The consecration ceremony was attended by 4,000 saints from different parts of the country, including at least one group representing each state and union territory. Heads of six ‘Darshans’ (Vedic philosophies), 13 ‘Akharas’ and 125 ‘Paramparas’ (disciplines) have been invited for this historic event. The security measures are aimed at ensuring the safety and success of the consecration ceremony, which is a significant moment in the cultural and religious landscape of India.
