Mumbai, July 27 (UITV)- A three-storey building collapsed in Shahbaz village of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra this morning. A young man is feared to be trapped under the debris in this major accident.
This major accident has happened in Belapur of Shahbaz village. It is being told that some people are feared to be trapped in the building due to the collapse of a three-storey building named Indira Niwas around four o’clock in the morning on Saturday.
According to information received from sources, people felt the tremors before the building collapsed, after which some people present in the building immediately came out. But, some people remained trapped in the building. However, when the information about the collapse of the building was received, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. People informed the police and fire brigade about the collapse of the building.
After receiving information about the incident, the police and fire brigade reached the spot and a rescue operation was started to save the people buried under the debris. NDRF commando Sushant Kumar Shetty told about this incident that we got information about a building collapse. We got information that three to four people are trapped under the debris due to the collapse of the building. After this, our team reached the spot and started a rescue operation to save the people buried under the debris.
He said that our team has safely rescued two people buried under the debris. Apart from this, we have received information about a boy missing. The work of removing the debris is being done with the help of machines. Also, dog squad has also been deployed in this rescue operation. The search for the missing boy is going on and he will be found soon.
