The main objective of the Bharatpol portal is to provide international police assistance to law enforcement agencies in cyber and financial crimes. This portal will enable the exchange of information in real time, thereby speeding up the investigation of crimes. In particular, this portal will streamline the processing of all requests for international assistance through Interpol. It will also include the process of issuing red notices and other colour-coded Interpol notices, which will improve international cooperation.
This portal can prove to be helpful in curbing serious crimes like cyber crime, financial crime, online radicalization, organized crime, drug trafficking and human trafficking. According to CBI officials, this portal is an important step in the fight against international criminal activities and it will act as a powerful tool to make the country’s investigating agencies more effective.
The major benefit of the Bharatpol portal is that it will simplify coordination for international investigations. In particular, this portal will help connect various investigating agencies of India and state police with Interpol, making their work more effective. Through this, these agencies will get immediate cooperation in taking action against international crimes.
In addition, this portal will provide quick assistance to investigating agencies in various types of criminal cases, including cyber crime, drug trafficking, organized crime and human trafficking. Along with this, the CBI believes that this portal will help India to further strengthen its position and influence against international crimes.
This cooperation and exchange of information through the Bharatpol portal will enhance the security of the country and strengthen the image of Indian investigative agencies at the international level. This will not only improve India’s security but will also help in increasing cooperation between police and investigative agencies at the global level.
The launch of the Bharatpol portal is an important step not only for India but also at the global level. This portal will accelerate India’s action against international crimes and make cooperation with other countries more effective. According to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, this portal is an important step to strengthen the country’s security and law enforcement system and will give a new direction to India.
