Millie Bobby Brown, renowned for her role in “Stranger Things,” has expressed a strong desire to portray Britney Spears in a potential biopic. She feels a deep connection to Spears, having grown up under public scrutiny herself. In a recent interview, Brown stated, “I would love to play her… but that is her story, and I support her in whatever she wants to do.”
However, Spears has previously conveyed her reservations about such projects. In response to discussions about a biopic, she remarked on Instagram, “I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life… dude, I’m not dead!!!”
This suggests that while Brown’s interest is genuine, Spears is not currently in favor of a biographical film about her life.
Universal Pictures has acquired the rights to Spears’ memoir, “The Woman in Me,” with plans to develop a biopic directed by Jon M. Chu. Despite this, Spears’ approval remains pivotal for the project’s progression.
