Beaches

Psarou: The trendiest beach in Mykonos where the most famous club, Nammos, is located. Sandy, organized, may easily get crowded during the peak season.
Platys Gialos: Long, sandy, organized beach with a lot of hotels and Mykonos villas for rent. From here you can take the water taxi to other beaches.
Paradise: Sandy, party beach with lots of younger guests and many bars all around it. It has been the most famous gay beach during the last decades.
Paranga: Another beautiful party beach with transparent waters. Here you will find Scorpios restaurant – beach club and many Mykonos luxury villas.
Agios Ioannis: A relatively quieter beach but still organized, with golden sand and turquoise waters. There are two restaurants – bars here.
Ornos: The top choice for families with shallow, safe waters and a lot of good places to eat, drink and sunbath. Ornos is also a good place to find a beautiful Mykonos villa to rent.
Kalafatis: The perfect beach for those who love water sports, even if you are traveling with children. It is sandy, with a few restaurants and bars and a lot of space to play or relax.
Fokos: A virgin, beautiful beach with strong winds – a heaven for windsurfers. Fokos is nudist – friendly, secluded and quiet.
Sights
Mykonos and the nearby islets of Delos and Rhenia have a long history and tradition, counting more than 5000 years. Grab the opportunity and dive into the island’s glorious past by visiting some of the most important sightseeing points.
Museums: In Mykonos Town you will find the Archeological Museum, the Aegean Maritime Museum, Lena’s House, the Agricultural Museum and the Folklore Museum of Mykonos. In Delos you will find the Archeological Museum of Delos as well as one of the biggest and most important archeological sites in Europe.
The Windmills: If you are going to Mykonos by a boat, it will be the first thing you see from Mykonos; a raw of big, cylindrical buildings, facing to the sea and the winds, just next to Mykonos Town. They were built during the 16th and 17th century and they are the trademark of Mykonos.
Little Venice: A unique neighborhood in Mykonos Town, with a quite different architecture than the rest of the island. Two-storey houses built right next to the sea, with their wooden balconies hanging over the waters. It is a busy area with a lot of bars, restaurants and cafes.
Churches: The incredible number of churches and chapels on the island is well above 500. Don’t miss Paraportiani Church at Kastro area.
Clubs
Vibrant nightlife is one of the things that mostly attract visitors from all over the world. Wild parties take place almost any time and big night clubs are all over the island. Bars become small clubs and people drink or dance even on the streets.
Some of the night clubs and bars you should visit are: Cavo Paradiso, Void, Toy Room, 180 Sunset bar, Moni, Baos bar, Astra, Galleraki, Queen, Jackie O’ bar, Scarpa, Lola bar, Cinderella, Paso Doble, Bombonniere, Semeli and Veranda.
There are also some big night clubs on the southern party beaches, such as Scorpios, Nammos, Super paradise club, Santanna and Tropicana club.
Activities
Mykonos is a perfect place for outdoor activities. Windsurfing and other watersports, private yacht tours, diving and snorkeling are the most popular ones. Many of the organized beaches have water sports schools and special facilities and activities for kids – like playgrounds and water activities for children.
