Dhanashree Verma, a renowned choreographer and social media influencer, recently expressed frustration towards paparazzi outside Mumbai’s Bandra Family Court amid her divorce proceedings with Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. The couple, who married in December 2020, have been living separately since mid-2022 and officially filed for divorce in February 2025, citing compatibility issues.
On March 20, 2025, Dhanashree arrived at the court for the final hearing. As she exited her vehicle, she was immediately surrounded by photographers and reporters. In the ensuing commotion, a photographer lost his balance and fell. Visibly agitated by the chaos and concerned for safety, Dhanashree reprimanded the paparazzi, questioning their behavior before proceeding into the courthouse.
Inside the courtroom, the Bandra Family Court granted the couple’s divorce by mutual consent. Chahal’s lawyer confirmed the dissolution of the marriage, stating, “The court has granted the decree of divorce. The court has accepted the joint petition of both parties. The parties are no longer husband and wife.”
Following the proceedings, Yuzvendra Chahal was spotted leaving the court wearing a black T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase “Be your own sugar daddy,” which garnered attention and reactions on social media.
