Once again there is laughter in the house of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Anushka gave birth to a son on 15 February. The star couple shared this good news with their fans on February 20. He has named his little guest ‘Akay’.
‘Akaya’ means without body/body – i.e. formless. In a way, this name means God. Earlier, Anushka had given birth to daughter Vamika on January 11, 2021.
The star couple announced the good news by themselves posting the news of their son’s birth on the social media platform Instagram on Tuesday. He wrote in the post, “With immense joy and love in our hearts, we are very happy to tell everyone that we have welcomed our baby boy Akay, Vamika’s little brother, into this world on 15th February. ,
“We seek blessings and good wishes from all of you in this beautiful time of life. We request that you all respect our privacy at this time. Love and gratitude – Virat and Anushka. ,
The couple kept Anushka’s second pregnancy a secret. However, a video was going viral in which the actress was seen in a black dress walking with her cricketer husband with her baby bump. From this viral video, it was being speculated that Anushka is pregnant for the second time, but Anushka-Virat did not disclose it.
The pregnancy was not announced by the couple themselves, but it was revealed by former South African international cricketer and current commentator AB de Villiers in a live chat. However, he later withdrew his statement.
Fans fondly call Anushka and Virat as ‘Viruska’. They got married on 11 December 2017 in Italy, away from India.
Currently, a five-match Test series is going on between India and England. Virat had distanced himself from this series in the beginning itself.
