After which all -rounder Rachin Ravindra said that Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is a historical and amazing franchise and I feel very exciting by joining this team.
The auction was held for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Tuesday, December 19 in Dubai. In this auction, Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) gave a tough fight to each other to achieve Rachin Ravindra before the Punjab Kings came to the ground. Finally CSK won Rachin Ravindra for Rs 1.8 crore and won the Kiwi player with him.
In a video chat with New Zealand Cricket (NZC), Kiwi player Rachin Ravindra said, “I have grown up watching IPL and it is very special for me to join the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team. Because Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is a historical and amazing franchise and it is fantastic to connect with it. He said that this is a wonderful team. It also includes many Kiwi. Recently, Rachin Ravindra came into the limelight from the Men’s ODI World Cup 2023. He scored 578 runs in 10 innings with the help of three centuries and two fifties. He finished fourth among the most runs scorers in the tournament. More than him, Virat Kohli scored 765 runs, Rohit Sharma 597 runs and Quinton de Kock scored 594 runs. Rachin Ravindra is a left -handed batsman. They also bowl spin with left hand. He has also played 18 T20s for New Zealand.
