This accomplishment propels India past Pakistan, who have 135 wins in 226 matches. Other leading teams in T20I cricket include New Zealand (102 wins in 200 matches), Australia (95 wins in 181 matches), and South Africa (95 wins in 171 matches).
As for the match details, Australia opted to bowl first. Impressive performances by Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rinku Singh, and Jitesh Sharma led India to a total of 174/9 in 20 overs. Ben Dwarshuis (3/40), Tanveer Sangha (2/30), and Jason Behrendorff showcased notable bowling skills for Australia.
In the pursuit of 175, Travis Head provided a strong start, scoring 31 in 16 balls, but Australia lost momentum. Despite efforts from Matthew Short and skipper Matthew Wade, they fell short by 20 runs. Axar Patel (3/16) and Ravi Bishnoi (1/17) exhibited excellent spin bowling, while Deepak Chahar secured 2/44, and Avesh Khan claimed a wicket.
