T20 and ODI series will be organized between India and Sri Lanka. Indian team will visit Sri Lanka for this series. BCCI has announced the Indian team squad for both the series. The T20 series will be played first between the two teams, followed by the ODI series. The T20 series will be held from July 27 to July 30, while the ODI series will be held from August 2 to August 7.
The Indian cricket team for the tour of Sri Lanka has been announced, bringing back many T20 World Cup winning players. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will return from the ODI series. Suryakumar Yadav has been named the captain of the T20 team and Rohit Sharma will lead the ODI series. Shubman Gill, who recently captained the team against Zimbabwe, has been made the vice-captain of the T20 team. Shivam Dubey, Rian Parag and Rinku Singh have also been given a chance in the Indian team. KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant have returned to India’s ODI team. Harshit Rana is included in the list of new players.
There have been several important changes in the Indian team that has been selected for the tour of Sri Lanka. The selection committee has shown confidence in Suryakumar Yadav and entrusted him with the responsibility of T20. While showing confidence in Shubman Gill, he has been made the vice-captain of the T20 team and the ODI team. Earlier it was being discussed that there is competition between Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav for the captaincy. But now the board has put a stop to these news.
KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant have been named in the ODI squad of the Indian team. Rishabh Pant is also a part of the T20 team. KL Rahul was out of the Indian team for a long time. He played the last ODI for the Indian team against South Africa in December 2023 and played the last T20 match against England in 2022. However, he has now returned to the ODI team.

India have named Ryan Parag and Harshit Rana in the ODI squad. Ryan recently made his T20 debut. Showing confidence in him, the selection committee has included him in the T20 as well as the ODI squad. Harshit and Ryan have done well in domestic cricket.
