New Delhi, Sep 4: In the India vs. Nepal Asia Cup clash in Sri Lanka on Monday, India’s premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will miss the match as he has returned to Mumbai for the birth of his first child.
Although BCCI has not yet confirmed anything on this matter, there have been reports from Sri Lanka that Jasprit Bumrah has come to India on Sunday due to some personal reasons.His wife Sanjana gave birth to her child on Monday morning, whose post was posted by Jasprit Bumrah on his Instagram handle and expressed a lot of happiness.
It is expected that Bumrah will return to Sri Lanka after a few days and will also be available for the Group 4 stage matches.
In his nomination, Mohammad Shami is expected to play in his place.
