Washington, December 5: The 2024 Copa America will be played in 14 American cities. Which has been confirmed by the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL).
The South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) said the 2024 Copa America will be staged in 14 American cities. In which 32 matches will be played in 25 days.
Semi-final matches will be played in New Jersey and Charlotte. Quarterfinal matches have been scheduled for Houston, Arlington, Glendale and Las Vegas.
Apart from this, Santa Clara, Orlando, Kansas City, Inglewood and Missouri City will also host the 2024 Copa America.
The 2024 Copa America tournament is a 107-year-old tournament. 16 teams will participate in this tournament. These 16 teams include 10 teams from CONMEBOL, six teams from North and Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF).
This is the second time the Copa America is being held outside South America. It was also the home of the centenary edition in 2016, when Argentina was defeated by Chile on penalties in the final.
The draw for the tournament will be held on December 7 in Miami.
