SpaceX CEO Elon Musk informed that Starlink satellite internet service is available in 100 countries. Elon Musk said through a post on social media platform X, Starlink is now available in 100 countries.
Sierra Leone is the 100th country in Africa to join the list and the 10th African country to join Starlink.
Starlink on X shared that this is the 100th market to provide Starlink’s high-speed low-latency internet.
Starlink was launched in 2023. The National Communications Authority of Sierra Leone has approved Starlink’s license after nearly a year of technical evaluation.
Starlink is connecting more than 3M people with high-speed internet across nearly 100 countries, territories and many other markets.

Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh described the achievement as an important step towards the government’s goal of universal connectivity and educational transformation.
The company was given permission by Sri Lanka to start satellite services last week. On this, President Ranil Wickremesinghe had said that this initiative will bring a revolutionary change in our connectivity as well as open new avenues for the progress of our youth.
Starlink was launched in May by SpaceX CEO Elon Musk in Indonesia and Fiji. According to Musk, it is easy to order online in 2 minutes and no long-term contract is required to order high-speed internet service with Starlink.
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk have previously said that their own X phone is also likely to come with Samsung as a potential partner.

ChatGPT’s integration into the iPhone and other Apple devices was heavily criticized from a security perspective.
An X user claimed that X will partner with Samsung and then make an X phone. It will be optimized for X app. Elon Musk responded by saying that it is not out of the question.
Earlier, Elon Musk said that Apple could make its own AI, which is not that smart. So it is obviously absurd to say that. But, still somehow he is able to ensure that OpenAI will protect your security and privacy.
