The Sandman Signature Hotel is a Fort Worth landmark building and is located near the Fort Worth Convention Center. The hotel opened last May following an extensive renovation of the Wagner Building.
According to the hotel’s website, the building was originally constructed in 1920. Many original features were retained during its conversion.
In a statement, Governor Greg Abbott said he was keeping an eye on the situation.
