He brought people together and made the whole world our family. To honor his memory, we must continue to adopt these values.” US President Joe Biden condoled Carter’s death and said, “It is a sad day, but at the same time there are so many incredible memories associated with him. I think today America and the world lost a remarkable leader. He was a statesman and a humanitarian and I also lost a dear friend. I have known Jimmy Carter for more than 50 years.” He also said, “I had countless conversations with him over those years, but what I find extraordinary is that millions of people around the world feel that they have also lost a friend, even though they have never met him. This is because Jimmy Carter believed in action, not words. He worked to eradicate disease not only at home but around the world. He established peace, advanced civil rights, human rights and promoted free and fair elections around the world.”
Carter’s contribution was also praised by America’s newly elected President Donald Trump and he said that when Jimmy Carter became the President of America, our country was going through a critical phase. He did everything possible to improve the lives of the people of America. For this, we are all grateful to him. In this difficult time, my wife and I are thinking about Carter’s family and his loved ones. We request everyone to keep them in their prayers.
